Gold Wanted buys jewellery
The process is straightforward: bring the items you would like to sell, bring your ID or passport, and speak to Linda or Brendan in person at the Fish Hoek shop.
Gold and silver jewellery
Gold Wanted buys pre-loved and heirloom gold and silver jewellery for quick cash. This can include rings, chains, bracelets, earrings, lockets, brooches and damaged jewellery.
Selected household sterling pieces such as cutlery, tea services, trays and hollowware can also be brought in for assessment.
Please bring ID or a passport
Bring a valid ID or passport with you when you visit to sell gold or silver jewellery. This is required for the in-person process.
Stones are handled separately
Where possible, stones are returned to you. The assessment is for the gold or silver metal, so it is useful to say upfront if a stone or sentimental part of the item matters to you.
What we do not accept
Gold Wanted does not accept Kruger Rands or coins. If you are not sure whether an item is suitable, send a short WhatsApp message before travelling to the shop.
